Hello world! My name is Brandon R. Courtney II and I need your help to make my dreams come true. I need to raise over $10,000 for a foreign exchange trip to Germany and I can't do it alone. But I'm getting ahead of myself. Let me tell you a little about me. I am 16 years old (heck yeah, my b-day was today!) and I attend Plainfield High School. My hobbies are pretty typical but not the scope! I love computers, I'm obsessed with playing my guitar, I love playing football and basketball, and I love pretty much every kind of art. I usually spend my day doing a few of these but usually its a little bit of everything. I attend church and youth group on Sundays, and during the summer I spend the weekends at my lake house at Sweetwater Lakes. Well...er...um...well, I guess that pretty much sums me up in a nutshell. Next summer I will be embarking on a journey to Germany. I want to go because I am adventurous to say the least. I seek challenges. When I'm on my deathbed, I want to say ,"Wow, what a great life I've lead", and I want to be able to tell my grandchildren about how I went to Germany and ate all kinds of weird food or how I had all these crazy adventures. But not only do I want to go for an adventure, I want to go to become prepared for life. To ready myself to improvise, adapt, and overcome (not to steal a catch-phrase or anything) for whatever life decides to throw at me. Going on a trip like this will be a life-changing experience and only a handful of people have experienced this type of adventure. I need help funding this expedition because really, how many people have 10 grand lying around. Paying for this isn't going to be easy but with everyone's help, my dreams could come true!
